The Invention of Wings is another great novel by Sue Monk Kidd!
This set includes the following:
20 Question Reading Guide with at least one question from each chapter. Each question is worth 5 points.
Summary of each chapter. This book does not have many summaries on the Internet, and I find it difficult to remember which chapters certain details came from since there are so many small chapters in this book. Using this summary, you can easily find which chapter you want to refer to or discuss with your students.
I have also included a tip to keep all of these small chapters straight. I found that as I was making lessons for this book the same titles for each chapter made it difficult to keep them straight, so I propose a solution for that in this packet.
Sample Summary of first chapter in this section: "Sarah"

Her youngest sister's name is Angelina, and Sarah has tried to influence "Nina" to be fearless. Nina even calls Sarah "Mother." Hetty and Sarah are not as close as they used to be. Sarah spends most of her time with Nina. At a party Sarah runs into a slave and drinks spill everywhere, including on a young man named Burke Williams. Sarah and he flirt, and she finds out his family owns a blacksmith shop in town. They talk, and he asks if he can see her again.
