Purchasing this resource allows for distribution of the materials throughout an entire school. The school license covers each teacher that would like to utilize the product. This is great for a school-wide focus on empathy and kindness! This is a reflection activity that compliments The Invisible Boy by Trudy Ludwig. In the book, Brian is a kid who feels overlooked and invisible at school. This starts to change when the new kid at school starts to pay attention to him and his talents. As a follow up activity, students can reflect on a time when they felt invisible. Then, after equipping each child in the class with a different colored pencil, students can mingle to get positive words of encouragement to help make their invisible pictures full of color. This is a great PBIS resource to reinforce kindness and empathy in the classroom. Included in this resource are 18 different images of children to best fit the needs of the students in your class.
