Brrrrr winter is here! Time to cozy up with a good book – here’s one of our favorites!

This book companion aligns to Shirley Neitzel’s The Jacket I Wear in the Snow. This product contains a total of 21 pages. Your purchase does not include the book and we have no association with the publisher or book author.

This product includes:

Basic WH Question Cards– Pages 3-5 – Use these cards to target answering basic WH questions. Provide the visual field of 3 choices for support as needed.

Inference Question Cards – Pages 6-8 – Use these cards to target answering inference questions. Provide the visual field of 3 choices for support as needed.

Adjective Matching – Page 9 – Draw a line to match the clothing item from the story to the adjective that describes it.

Using Adjectives – Page 10 – Cut out the clothing pictures and glue on the sentence strips provided.

Descripto-Bingo – Pages 11-13 – Make 3 copies of Page 11 (Bingo calling cards). Cut out the calling cards and the Bingo cards from Pages 12-13. Draw a Bingo calling card and read the description. Students should mark the corresponding clothing item on their Bingo card.

Quantitative Concepts – Pages 14-19 –
MORE/LESS: identify the laundry basket that has MORE or LESS clothing items from a field of 2 choices.
MOST/LEAST: identify the laundry basket that has the MOST or LEAST clothing items from a field of 3 choices.
SAME: identify the two laundry baskets that have the SAME number of items.
MANIPULATIVES: there are four large empty laundry basket pictures and pictures of the clothing items for open-ended practice following directions quantitative concepts.

Rhyming – Page 20 – Identify the rhyming word for each target word from a field of 3 choices.
