Product Description
In order to develop necessary background information on the novel, The Kite Runner, it is important to research and understand the historical and cultural contexts of Afghanistan between the years of 1960-2001. Consequently, this assignment assigned each student a specific portion of Afghanistan society to research: History/Geography, Religion/Faith, Daily Life, Women in Society, and/or Tribal Relationships and Family. Students will later be placed in a group and will be required to share their research with their classmates to create a brochure on Afghanistan that informs and educates readers.
This product includes in depth questions to guide each student's research, specific brochure requirements, and a rubric.
