Created in conjunction with my World Literature colleague, these charts (printed as a booklet) are meant to be completed in addition to or in conjunction with annotations for "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini. The charts ask the students to identify the following through the chapters:
Row 1: Themes:
Row 2: Book Objectives:
-Notable use of flashback, character development, and/or narration.
-What is happening in the broader world through these chapters?
Row 3: Characters:
-Changes: (How have they changed?)
-Continuities: (How do they remain the same?)
For this version, the chapter numbers are in the columns. Sheets are sized at 11 X 17 to allow for ample writing room. Especially good for students in need of extra support tracking major concepts through the book.
TO PRINT: Select multiple, 2 pages per sheet. Pages are ordered in the PDF to print as a booklet, so you will need a long-reach stapler.
