This resource file contains posters on the language used when discussing chance and probability. They could be used for a display to help pupils focus and what the chances or possibility there is of something happening eg. “What is the chance of it raining today?” or “What is the possibility of the next person coming into the room being a girl?”
The posters are designed two per A4 page and include language like: possible; impossible; likely; unlikely; certain; even; 50:50 etc.
The file contains a header saying “Chance and Probability” as well as question posters eg. “What is the chance?”; “What is the possibility?”; “How likely is it?” etc.
There are also some matching arrows in the file in case teachers wish to display the posters in a linear fashion going from impossible to certain eg:
impossible ⇒ possible ⇒ even ⇒ likely ⇒ certain
The posters are designed with two colourful borders in red and yellow/orange which should make for a colourful display.
The borders are from Krista Wallden Creative Crafts on Teachers Pay Teachers. The Font used is from Hello Literacy on Teachers Pay Teachers.
