There's the first day of school, with all of its energy, mystery, and nerves. Before you know it, it's the last day, with all its reflection, memories, and bittersweet tears.
Some kids will be back at your school the following year and they will stop by to see you each morning on their way to their new classes. There's also some kids that will move to different places and for all you know, the last day of school is your last chance to plant the seeds of inspiration. I created this sheet to include in the kids report cards on the last day....one final lesson/sermon of me speaking life into them. I thought it would be neat to place it in an envelope and write each kids name on it and tape them each to the wall....the whole year kids asking "what's in the envelope?", a year's worth of anticipation. On the last day I would give each student their envelope with the instructions to read the contents in private and hold on to the words for a lifetime.
