What are Learning Links? Learning Links are a half-page sheet that goes home each week with your preschool or struggling kindergarten students. It highlights what is being learned at school, the themes and topics that are of particular focus, important dates and information to remember, and a simple weekly assignment for each student and their family to complete together. This product is meant to be a year-long tool to get parents involved in their child's learning...and help keep them connected to what's happening at school. The weekly assignments included within Learning Links are developmentally appropriate and progressive in nature. They utilize scaffolding to help students practice the new skills being introduced in school and review/retain previously learned concepts. All skills presented are based upon national standards for kindergarten readiness (academically, physically, socially, etc.) and have been successfully kid-tested and are parent- and teacher-approved!
Please take a moment and read over the complete Parent Letter included in the preview. It gives a more in-depth explanation of 'The Learning Link' concept and how it works.
***This Learning Link product is intended for PRESCHOOLERS or for KINDERGARTENERS THAT NEED TO GET UP TO GRADE-LEVEL. Be watching for a separate Kindergarten Edition to come soon!***
