This set includes comprehension assessments for chapters 1-4, 5-7, 8-10, and 11-14. Each assessment includes a mix of multiple choice and short response questions. These questions are correlated to FCAT 2.0 but can be used in any classroom.
There are also three extension activities. One is a planning sheet for students to use in order to develop their own lemonade stand advertisement. Another is an activity in which students are required to write a persuasive letter to Jessie or Evan, two characters from the novel. The final one is a chapter analysis, in which students need to record and analyze examples of figurative language from a chapter, as well as write and illustrate the main idea of the chapter. This final activity is not specific to The Lemonade War and can be used with any novel.
