In this research project, students will become "experts" in one of the various liberal revolutions of the 19th century. To do this, students will work together to research their assigned revolution and put together a presentation.
This assignment can be adapted in many different ways. It is designed to be a three to 4 day activity but can also be assigned as a take home project in order to reduce the class time needed. Requirements can be added or adjusted based on the needs of each individual class. The assignment is student-centered and requires them to work collaboratively. The teacher is meant as a guide and facilitator.
