When I make things a little crafty to grab my students' attention, the light bulbs go on as they are happily engaged.
With that in mind, I designed these Life Cycle of the Butterfly
They come in full color
so you can explain the science, then use as an independent center
There’s also a pattern in black and white
, so that students can make their own.
I've included a 6-piece simpler version,
with cute graphics for younger kiddos, as well as a more realistic,
10-piece wheel, for older students.
"Story Wheels" are a super-fun "print & go" activity that will help children remember the various stages of the butterfly's life cycle
To reinforce the lesson, I've also included a worksheet
for students to explain the various stages, which will practice ordinal numbers, transitions
, and sequencing
I'm Diane from Teach With Me, wishing you a sensational springtime filled with many memorable moments.
