Are you working on teaching your kids the hardships and joys of the economy? This project is a great, interactive way for your students to learn about budgeting, making choices and balancing LIFE! This project is designed to be a month-long project for upper elementary students.
Students chose different aspects of a make-believe "life" such as a salary, occupation, housing, vehicle, family and insurance. Students keep a registrar of their budget in their "Life Portfolios" and each day they draw a "daily draw" card, which gives them positive and negative consequences that they may face in LIFE! This project is a great way to get your students interested in budgeting and the economy.
