This is a webquest activity that has students analyze four different accounts of the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, and find similarities and differences amongst the accounts.

The accounts of this event are in a variety of formats, from multiple sources (a video, two journal sources, and a newspaper article).

Students will determine whether each document is a firsthand or secondhand account, the author's purpose, and analyze for important details/information.
