Product Description
In chapter five of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Peter and Susan are so worried about Lucy that they consult the Professor for help. Follow the directions to learn how C.S. Lewis used verbs to explain what happened and to make the passage interesting.

In this lesson, students read the passage and highlight the verbs. Students explore why Lewis used those verbs and alternative choices he may have used. They then write a passage using verbs that clearly describe an activity.

Common Core Standard L.1

Includes the student worksheet and an answer sheet.
