This readers' theater script is adapted from a Native American folktale. It tells the story of two children who are stranded upon a high rock. Many strong and cunning animals try to rescue the children, but they fail. The lowly inch worm is the only one able to bring the children to safety. The themes of this tale are: never give up, and never judge a book by its cover.
