The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything, written by Linda Williams, is one of my favorite seasonal books. My class has always enjoyed this book. The patterned sentences allows them to successfully read it. This packet provides resources and ideas for having fun with this book.
The set includes a student version of the story in both color and black and white. This is used after students have heard the story a few times. After reading the student version students cut the strips apart and put the story back together again. Using the familiar story is a fun way for students to practice reading.
The set also includes a comprehension page, a word search, and cards to make retell puppet sticks.
