This Little Red Hen Literacy Unit is a two week unit. It includes a color version of the Story Little Red Hen as well as step by step lesson plans. This resource will save you hours of work because EVERYTHING is all planned out, it is all differentiated, there are easy to follow, step by step lesson plans and ALL the materials are included for you! Just PRINT and TEACH!

Teachers will use the INCLUDED book of Little Red Hen (the colored version looks great printed out), and early readers get the opportunity to illustrate it on their own, use various reading strategies to read it on their own, write their own version, compare and contrast characters and learn about punctuation.

This unit can be used as a whole group, in small groups, in a daily 5 rotation, and has several independent work opportunities.
