Introduce or review story elements with The Little Scarecrow Boy by Margaret Wise Brown
This mini-unit focuses on reinforcing the concept of "setting" with a story wheel on which the students illustrate time, places, and characters of the story.
BONUS - I've also included a bonus story wheel template that you can use with any story!
Please note: The picture book is not included with this unit. If you don’t have it in your collection, you can check it out from your local library.
This mini-unit is part of my Scarecrows and Story Elements Unit
featuring literature links for more great scarecrow books!
It includes this mini-unit, plus four more great literature links mini-units:
