Product Description
This is a unit project that I use for the teaching of the Vietnam War. By completing this project students will retell the key events of the Vietnam War through the use of photojournalism.

The Project Goal—
For this unit project you are going to be taking on the role of a photojournalist in an attempt to accurately paint the picture of American society during the Vietnam War. You will be required to create an original photo album using the provided template. Your photo album must provide a detailed, respectable, and historically accurate portrayal of the Vietnam War.

I have created a very detailed rubric for this project that includes both descriptions and point values (of course you can change the point values to better fit your classroom).

Students really enjoy this project because they get to personalize it and pick the 6 events of the war that interest them most. In the past my students and I have given their photo albums to Vietnam veterans. The loved doing this!
