A fun way to look at natural selection. This worksheet creates an environment that rebuilds after the Once-ler destroys the habitat in Dr. Seuss' world. Some creatures may look familiar and some are new. You do not need to watch the movie for this worksheet; I wanted to find a new way to look at natural selection rather than moths and trees or mice and birds. Students will color in the three illustrated panels based on the story showing natural selection, describe what is happening in each panel and then answer questions. I did not create a key for this assignment as answers may vary slightly, but it should be simple enough to grade for a teacher that is familiar with natural selection.
