This is a one lesson unit from Reading Through History which documents the history and legend of El Dorado, one of the famed cities of gold sought out by Spanish Conquistadors. The two page reading is followed by three pages of student activities which include reading comprehension questions, a guided reading activity, a vocabulary activity, student summaries, and a student response essay question.
There is enough material to cover 25-30 minutes of class.
