This lesson on the earliest era of music will help you teach your late elementary/early middle school students about the Medieval Era. Students will learn about 7 instruments, 5 composers, and basic vocabulary/concepts needed to understand music history. Also included are activities such as a circle game and song, fill-in-the-blank timeline notes, sing & sign, "Don't Hear--LISTEN" questions, and a mad lib to complete as a class that they're sure to enjoy. The file also contains a basic, five question end-of-the-chapter quiz. Files included are .ppt and .doc, so you can adapt them to fit your unique classroom and students' needs!
