Description
"The Midnight Teacher" is the story of Lilly Granderson and her work to educated other enslaved individuals at the risk of her own life. This literature study has prereading questions, vocabulary preview, during reading questions (broken into three parts), an activity comparing settings within the story, and an activity identifying themes that were developed throughout the story. Questions and tasks are aligned to CCSS. Great for Black History Month!
