The Mixed-Up Cookies {A CVC Word Building Game}

Mmmmm....I love cookies...and so will your students once they play this game! Building simple CVC words is so much fun. Place all of the snowflake consonant cookies in a jar (focus on one medial vowel sound or all of them to make it more challenging). Students choose 2 consonant cookies from the jar and use a vowel cookie to spell a CVC word - does it make sense? If not, put the cookies back and try again! You can use the short vowel charts to help! There are also recording sheets included if you'd like your students to spell out the words they build.
