This combination Helper Card and Task Card set is designed to assist the classroom Teacher to develop a sound knowledge of the application of the mole concept in Stoichiometry. The helper cards are explicit and guided and the task cards provide basic practice and revision for these concepts. This product will complement and enhance problem-based direct teaching in your own class.
The helper cards address the conversions between number of mole, mass and number of atoms, ions or particles, as well as explicit use of Avogadro's Number. A visual slide shows the relationships that exist when dealing with the mole concept. Additional topics include percentage composition, Empirical Formula and the conversion between empirical formula and molecular formula.
