This lesson explains the cycle of money. They learn about minting money and how it is enters and exits circulation.

Lesson objectives are:
1) The students will understand how money is taken out and placed in circulation.
2) The students will find the probability of the minting location of a penny.


National standards include:
• Summarize data sets in relation to their context.
• Interpret a fraction as division of the number by the denominator.
