"The Most Dangerous Game" is a classic short story that students are often riveted by. This lesson introduces students to the concepts of conflict and dramatic structure in the context of this short story.
Conflict and dramatic structure are introduced in this lesson with easy to understand definitions. Students are asked to identify examples of the four types of conflict within popular media sources before doing so for "The Most Dangerous Game." And after introducing dramatic structure and identifying its use in "The Most Dangerous Game," students are asked to evaluate other texts they've read and also look at the merits (and demerits) of the dramatic structure.
