This product contains comprehension questions with an answer key to accompany the short story "The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell. The product is fully editable in a PowerPoint format.
This is a classic short story in which an unsuspecting hunter must ask an evil narcissist for help when he finds himself stranded on an island. After reading the story, students are guided through a cubing activity which asks them to analyze the conflict of the story with questions of increasing complexity. The activities included in the cubing activity can be used as part of the PowerPoint presentation, or they can be put into an online form (such as a Google Form) and students can answer electronically so that their responses can be shown on the screen and easily compared.
An answer key is provided as well as a link to an audio recording of the story is provided.
Listening to the story and completing the questions and cubing activity will likely take two class periods.
