PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

I do this activity with 3rd graders when talking about persevering when things get challenging or when something doesn't go the way you planned it.

We read, "The Most Magnificent Thing" by Ashley Spires and then I give this worksheet to the students and discuss the first page together.

The 2nd page is where students use their imagination and create an invention or idea using only one half sheet (construction paper) of 8 1/2 by 11 piece of paper (it has to be 2D and be able to fit on the page). They can cut it, rip it, wrinkle it, etc.
