This classroom number line is the perfect way to teach your students multiples while you teach multiplication on your classroom number line all year long!
Hang the number cards from 0-144 in your classroom, as you would a typical number line. Then, underneath the corresponding numbers add the labels for the multiples that match that number. You can stack multiple multiples labels under each card so your students can visually see the multiple multiples the numbers match to, and which numbers clearly are not multiples of anything (and are not products of any multiplication fact).
You can use only up to 100, 120, or 144, depending on the facts sets you teach. You can also add the multiple labels as you teach the different fact sets throughout the year as well. There are many ways to use this to help your students learn multiples and skip counting while displaying a number line in your classroom, with fun bright colors against a clean white background!
