Pg. 13-18 A Frog’s Life Cycle – copy pages off, form a book, and staple together - there is enough for two students on each page - students can then cut around the lily pad to form a shape book - write on each page to describe each stage of a frog’s development
Pg. 19-21 M&M Multiple Meaning Words! – copy off patterns on appropriate paper - you can differentiate your teaching with two choices of paper – have the students either write sentences for each word or draw pictures

Pg. 25-30 My Mysterious Tadpole – writing and craft activity – copy shapes onto appropriate colored construction paper, put the frog/lizard together by folding the circle in half adding accordion folded legs, tongue, and cotton ball eyes – have the students add their own black pupils they have cut out – add writing paper – students can write about what their tadpole turned out to be or what they would have done in that situation
Pg. 31-39 Hopping to Find a Tadpole! – a High Frequency Word game – take turns reading the words on the cards to move forward, catching a bug, fish, or snail will send you back, the winner reaches the tadpole first – can be laminated – for 2-4 players
