My students love a good game of SCOOT. As the teacher, I love a great activity that helps students review skills and be active learners.
The Mystery Capital Letter SCOOT is designed for primary learners who are not yet reading or struggle with wordy task cards. Encourage students to view the capital letter on each card and then write the matching lower case letter. Stronger students can view the capital letter and then write a word using the letter. Bonus, students are reinforcing penmanship skills too. I even used an interlined font to illustrate proper letter formation. Use these capital letter cards for an exciting game of SCOOT, as a literacy center or as flashcards.
A primary SCOOT record sheet with interlined blocks is available for free in my store.
