Put your student's knowledge to the test with the Name That State Game. Players (or teams) take turns reading clue cards and naming the states that fit the clues. Each clue card contains 4 clues which become increasingly easier as the point values decrease (40, 30, 20, and 10). The clues cover a variety of categories - history, important cities, famous people, economy, famous places and geography. The length of the game can be set by a time limit or the game can be played to a point total.
The clues come in two formats. The 4 clue card sheets are for printing on card stock paper, being cut apart, and then being sorted into 3 separate playing decks of 50 cards each. The individual sheets (with the same clues as the 4 clue card sheets) are for storing on your computer. They can then be projected on a screen or board in a large group setting.
You may choose to run off one of the two physical maps included as a resource to assist with the geography clues.
The game packet includes:
~ a table of contents
~ 38 clue card sheets with 4 clue cards on each sheet (there are 3 clue cards for each state)
~ 150 individual clue sheets to project on the board (same clues as the 4 clue card sheets)
~ 1 instruction page
~ 2 physical maps to assist with geography clues
