Happy New Year! Are you looking for the perfect math resource to engage your students during the month of January? This is NOT your typical New Years Resolution activity. The New Years Project is a real-life math project where students will complete SIX different New Years Resolution related tasks.

You might choose to print specific tasks to use during Math centers, or you might make a booklet out of all six tasks and let your students choose which one to do when. The choice is yours.

Take a look at what you’ll find inside The New Years Project:

RESOLUTION #1: SAVE UP FOR A PET

Alexis has wanted a puppy for so long and finally her parents have agreed! BUT she must save up enough money to purchase the puppy and pay for its vet bills, food, and supplies. Her New Years Resolution is to save up enough to pay for all of these expenses.
