Tier 1 Vocabulary Bingo: Print, laminate, and cut. These boards can be used for identifying vocabulary from the story, identifying by description, describing, etc.
Find & Color worksheet: Provide each student with a worksheet. Have them look back in the book and locate the described item. Once they locate the item, they will color in the circle.
Rhyming Puzzles:Place the puzzle pieces mixed up on the table and have your students match the pieces.
Race 2 Rhyme Worksheet
Rhyme & Color Worksheet: Have your students choose a word, generate a rhyme, then color that part of the picture.
Help Me Pack My Bag Worksheet: Color the items you think I should pack in my suitcase. Then, explain to a partner why you chose those items.
Compare & Contrast Worksheet: Have your students write similarities/differences in the diagram.
Regular/Irregular Verbs Worksheet: Use a pencil and a paper clip to make the spinner. After flicking the paper clip, record the verb onto the chart on the left and provide the other tenses of the verb.
Let’s Talk About IT Verb Cards: Have your students read each sentence and determine what tense the underlined verb is in.
Cut & Paste Synonym/Antonym Worksheets: They will need to cut out the words at the bottom of the page and glue them next to the word that means the same/opposite.
Flipbook: This is perfect to send home with your students, so they can talk about the story with their families.
