This cute story by Deborah Diesen tells the story of a fish who was so busy trying to find the right present for his friends that he forgot the true meaning of the holidays!
This script has roles for six children. There are also nameplates that should be copied on cardstock. I would add a bit of glitter to them since Mr. Fish talks about how his gifts should have bling-zing! Then either hole-punch and thread with yarn for a nametag necklace, or staple onto a long strip of construction paper for a nametag headband. I would just place one staple in the center of the present so that the present stands out straight as a gift would.
I hope you enjoy this Reader's Theater. It really is fun!
