This POWER POINT Lesson is appropriate for elementary music students of all ages and is part 5 of a 9 part unit. In this lesson, students will follow a listening map as they hear the Russian dancers prance around as if they are flying through the air. Students will be expected to read simple rhythmic notation including quarter notes and quarter rests as well as repeat signs. Included in this lesson is a YouTube link to a short video clip of the Russian Mariinsky Ballet Company performing this high energy dance number. Adding instruments to this selection would make for a great classroom play-a-long activity. This lesson is also available in a BUNDLE KIT in my TpT store that includes all 9 lessons at a discounted price when purchased as a BUNDLE. Be sure to check it out!!
