During the tenure of President Thomas Jefferson, there were many major events: Marbury v Madison, the Louisiana Purchase, the impressment of sailors, and the Embargo Act. In this lesson students will:
*discuss the events and take notes. Included to correlate with the power point are possible questions that teachers can ask the class to facilitate a class discussion.
*Create an "Office of President Jefferson" with illustrations and analysis of the significance of the events during Jefferson's Presidency
