Texas History students review, or learn about, the discovery of oil in Texas by reading a two page background reading. They then show what they learned by designing a town before, during, and after the Age of Oil (for the after, they pick whether their town has become a ghost town or has developed further into a big city). A points distribution is included as well as a sample layout. (This will be updated this semester to include student samples).
