Read one of three stories from The One and Only Stuey Lewis
to celebrate Halloween. Use the holiday as an extension of your curricular goals rather than a detour.
Stuey comes up with a clever caper to celebrate his favorite holiday in "The Great Halloween Caper." Read the story aloud or assign in Literature Circles and then reinforce through these worksheets. The Novel Work includes an exercise on Facts vs. Opinions as well as a focus on compound words from the story and Halloween-themed. Lastly, it includes a Daily Language Review R-E-A-D Worksheet for the story.
