There is a helpful book that I read called "The Organized Student" by Donna Goldberg and Jennifer Zweigel. IT IS A MUST READ! I felt so inspired to help students improve their executive functioning skills, starting with organization.
I created my lesson plans based off of their organization methods. Part of their organization system includes a detailed layout of how to set up organization for traveling papers. Many students carry a binder for each class, which causes much of their disorganization. Carrying the notes and handouts from the entire year gives the students more of an opportunity to misplace their papers AND they are carrying way more than they need to be carrying.
This lesson includes:
- Step by step instructions on how to set-up a binder
- Step by step instructions on how to set up an accordion.
- Detailed layout of the lesson
- Editable exit tickets
Guys, I am so excited for this one so I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
