Students will read about the different traditions and rituals that have been borrowed and stolen from civilizations throughout time and around the world to combine into a unique celebration. They will answer questions that ask them to infer and analyze from the article and there are high level vocabulary words that are highlighted and ready to go for additional instruction or pre-reading activities.
