This collection of ten "other" sports provides exposure to a number of cultural, lesser-known, yet fun recreational sports while developing new physical skills in new contexts.
The activities will broaden the student's knowledge of sport around the world and will require the practice and mastery of physical skills not usually associated with many of the mainstream sports to which they are accustomed. It also promotes an alternative active lifestyle in new social situations, challenging the students while still incorporating the elements of fun and fitness.
The collection also comes with diagrams illustrating how the fields of play are set up and photos of any unusual equipment needed (download "Phys Ed Equipment Sources" on store's product page).
A great resource for a Recreation class on its own, or as a supplement to a Physical Education program.
