This BUNDLE of resources for the novel The Outsiders contains 3 resources:

Are you looking for an engaging activity to add to your unit on The Outsiders? These 30 Digital Task Cards are perfect for a fun game or friendly competition. The activity recaps the text as students decide which of the 7 Greasers spoke the quoted lines. Made with Google Forms, these task cards are self-checked and provide instant feedback. Google Forms require a Google account and a device that is connected to the Internet.

This product can be shared with your students through the Google Classroom or Google Drive.

Once students complete the task cards, they will immediately receive their results. You can set it so that the students can complete the task cards one time, or as many times as you want. Although you cannot change my actual slides, this Google form is EDITABLE, so you can change the settings on the Google Form: require email addresses, limit to 1 response, etc.

How to use the EDITABLE Google Form?

This product can be shared with your students through the Google Classroom or through email. Because you purchased a digital product that is EDITABLE, you can make any changes you would like to the questions or look of the Google Form. Simply swap out my information and put your own! You can also make changes to the settings such as requiring emails, multiple submissions, etc...

If you're looking for an engaging way to wrap up your unit on The Outsiders, Outsiders Baseball is a great way to review the characteristics of the 7 members of the Greasers Gang. This game will have your students out of their seats and fully engaged in a friendly competition.

The Baseball Diamond:

Four bases for you to simply print, trim, laminate, and hang around your classroom to form the baseball diamond.

Questions:

Roughly 100 statements about the 7 members of the Greaser Gang in which the answers will earn the student a single, double, triple, or home run. The answer to every statement is one of the 7 Greasers.

Scoreboard:

I included a digital scoreboard if you want to project it on your white board.

Extra Innings:

This is a great activity if you have extra time or need a tie-breaker. There are 2 events that occurred in the book and the students have to decide if the first event came BEFORE or AFTER the second event. It can also be used as a completely separate activity.
