The guide combines:
1. A supportive commentary;
2. 43 in-depth questions which guide the reader to a deeper understanding of the background, themes, and characters of the text. (Even if you know this text well, I think you will gain new insights. I have not seen a more detailed and thorough Study Guide.) The questions are designed to stimulate thought and to open up interpretation, not to test.
3. Ideas for grouping students in class for group discussion, group feedback, and formal presentations;
4. Literary terms activity;
5. Plot and character graphics for student notes.
