The Pee Dee Culture
Our K-5 Global Gateway lesson plans are student-centered and follow a PBI structure of:

In the lesson, The Pee Dee Culture, students will employ a rigorous visual literacy activity to explore a local Native American cultural heritage site.
1) Use and understand the intercultural competence tool ODIVE.
2) Practice recording observations and making interpretations.
3) Create and present a flipchart.
4) Develop an awareness of the Pee Dee Culture.
