Fun active learning activity based on the novel by Stephen Chbosky. This is a summary quiz designed to be used after reading the novel.
There are 34 clues. Clues include the names of characters, places, texts studied by Charlie and other important words in the study of The Perks of Being a Wallflower. A word bank is included to assist students. You could redact this, and use as an open book assignment - this makes for an activity that is both fun and challenging. To see the words used in the puzzle, download the preview file. This is the solution grid.
This resource/activity could be used as an in-class assignment or as homework, to help revise the text, or just for fun. Students get a real kick out of this activity.
I've specifically written the clues to include a lot of detail. In this way, it's not just a time filler.. it's an active learning tool.
