This product is an INTERACTIVE information gap activity to provide students with an opportunity to practice reading, writing, and interpreting physical descriptions of people in Italian. They may draw and present their results. All questions and answers students need are written in Italian- they just need to be able to interpret them (they do not have to "produce" language to be able to complete the activity).
I used this activity with Italian 1 students after a unit on physical descriptions, clothing, and colors. I also used this activity with an Italian 2 class as a “fun” Friday activity.
Students will work in pairs, but I have also provided a set for a group of three (#5 A,B,C) in case you have an odd number one day. You may decide whether you want to assign pairs or give students random papers and make sure they can match up partners on their own (1A works with 1B, etc.). There are 5 different “pickpockets” to describe (#1-4 for pairs and #5 for a group of 3.
There are 9 actual PDF pages (many of which are actually landscape half-sheets) which include:
p. 1) Title page
p. 2) How to Use This Product
p. 3-6) Handouts for four different pairs
p. 7-8) Handouts for a group of three
p. 9) Answer Key (in English) and Thank You / Credits
