This package includes the following:
An activities explanation sheet which breaks down the order things should be approached in as well as gives some additional information about how to approach each of the elements.
An anticipation guide which give students an opportunity to consider the ideas that will be addressed in the story in order to access prior knowledge.
Comprehension questions to ensure that students are clear on the basic plot elements and some of the literary elements as well.
Notes on the story which are intended to be presented to the class and discussed. They focus on the indirect presentation of Miss. Strangeworth and both how that is achieved and what is revealed about her.
A character chart which compliments the notes is included. It also sets students up for the essay portion as well. The chart is primarily focused on what is revealed about Miss. Strangeworth through indirect characterization and finding evidence for those traits.
A parts of the essay handout, followed by a focus on introductions handout (including a question for students to write their essay), and an essay outline sheet are also included.
Something that compliments this package is my exercise for students to work on integrating and explaining their quotations. This activity is specific to "The Possibility of Evil" and can be found in my store.
