Product Description

The real life story of The Post looks at the government cover-up that spanned four U.S. Presidents. Kay Graham (Meryl Streep) was the country's first female newspaper publisher. Follow her and her editor (Tom Hanks) as they fight the government for their 1st Amendment rights. This is a great film to look at when discussing the Vietnam War, Pentagon Papers, freedom of the press, or The Nixon Administration. This lesson would also be great in a Journalism class.

There are 50 questions and an answer key is included. The movie is rated PG-13 for language and brief war violence.

I also have the following Time Magazine opener available. This would be great to use before the film. Time Magazine Article on the Post

This is also available in my U.S. History Movie Bundle! You get 7 movie guides for $9.99!
